Forest Therapy in Melbourne: Reconnect with Nature

Some Important Information

David Belli is a certified and INFTA-accredited Forest Therapy Guide with Amongst the Trees, as well as a Licensed Tour Operator (LTO) with Parks Victoria. Amongst the Trees has a current COVID Safe Plan available upon request. The park you will walk in is a safe location, and a full Risk Assessment has been conducted by Amongst the Trees while scouting the trail for your forest therapy experience. Your guide is trained in First Aid and will carry a medical kit along with spare equipment in case someone forgets something or if any equipment fails. However, it's best not to rely solely on the Forest Therapy Guide for any necessities you might need during your forest bathing in Melbourne.

Respect & Responsibility

Amongst the Trees reserves the right to refuse participation in the walk for reasonable circumstances, including but not limited to: failure to meet COVID Safe requirements at the time of the walk; being inadequately dressed or prepared for the experience; willfully harming or damaging any property, flora, or fauna; or displaying dangerous, intimidating, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior towards your Forest Therapy Guide, fellow participants, park authorities, or other park users. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated, as a forest therapy walk should always remain a safe and inclusive space for everyone. At the end of the walk, your Forest Therapy Guide will provide you with a Participant Feedback Form to share your honest feedback about the forest therapy experience. This information is solely used for improving our services and is not shared with any external parties, ensuring your privacy is respected.

Adverse Weather

Should adverse weather conditions be forecasted, Amongst the Trees will make every effort to contact you before the walk to discuss postponement, prioritizing your safety. If you have concerns, please reach out to us. Adverse weather does not include normal levels of heat, rain, or wind, as long as participants are appropriately dressed (umbrellas are acceptable for rain, but a jacket is essential). However, conditions such as lightning, thunderstorms, hailstorms, strong winds, flooding, severe heat, severe cold, dust storms, smoke, or bushfire danger are deemed unsafe, and the walk will not proceed under those circumstances.

Postponement & Cancellation Policy

Amongst the Trees reserves the right to postpone a walk for reasonable circumstances, including forecasted adverse weather, and will discuss rescheduling or refunds with you. If you cancel 48 hours or more before the scheduled time, Amongst the Trees will offer a 100% refund of your walk fees, excluding any trail scouting fees. If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled time, a 50% refund of your walk fees will be offered, with no refund for the trail scouting fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled walk may not receive a refund, but we encourage you to discuss your options with us. No-shows for scheduled walks will not be refunded by Amongst the Trees. We expect all participants to respect our business and inform us ahead of a scheduled walk if circumstances change.
